Telekinesis is the ability to move or elevate objects with the power of the mind. Another word used to name the same phenomena is psychokinesis which includes more paranormal abilities. Telekinesis is actually only one part of the psychokinesis. Although there is no rock solid evidence that telekinesis is real and happening, one should never be skeptic about it.
The science behind it
Psychokinesis is part of the phenomena investigated by parapsychologist. Parapsychology also concerns with telepathy, hypnosis, clairvoyance, reincarnation and other paranormal activities. Psychokinesis can be divided into two major categories: macro-psychokinesis which includes psychokinetic effects on a large scale or simply said effects that are easily spotted even with the naked eye. The other group is micro-psychokinesis which creates effects that in order to be detected the use of statistics is required. Beside telekinesis, phenomena such as levitation, psychic healing, pyro-kinesis, rapports and much more belong to psychokinesis.
So what is telekinesis?
Now that we know a little more about psychokinesis and the part of it known as telekinesis or how to raise or spin an object with your mind, we can ask ourselves how does that really works. Telekinesis is an interaction between the energy of the person and the energy of the object trying to affect. The biggest problem is that many of us don’t know how to channel our personal energy, so it can have an impact on the object that we are trying to move.
The human mind
We have seen that everything evolves, we know that plants and animals have changed during the centuries of evolution. They have become stronger, faster and better, adapted to the change of terrain and climate. Along with the evolution of the flora and fauna, humans are also evolving. We own our adaptability and survival only to our mind. This is the reason why our mind is more surely to evolve into something better.
There is a study about the brain’s information storage capacity which states that the human mind can store around a quadrillion bytes information. Also when we are awake our brain generates power enough to power a light bulb. There are many other fascinating facts about the brain, but the point here was that the human mind is the tool we have to use in order to make an object move. So can we do it, it surely doesn’t hurt if we try?
